Overview
micro1 is seeking 100 Investment Funds Attorneys for a part-time contractor role in remote legal AI work. This opportunity is aimed at experienced lawyers who can help train, evaluate, and improve AI systems used for contract review, negotiation, and redlining in real-world legal settings.
What You’ll Do
- Run simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises.
- Review AI-generated responses to contract scenarios and provide expert feedback to improve precision and quality.
- Create objective evaluation frameworks and grading criteria for contract-related AI tasks.
- Work with product and research teams to refine data, guidelines, and best practices for AI-driven contract review solutions.
Requirements
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- At least 2 years of experience in the funds department of a corporate law firm.
- Familiarity with standard M&A agreements, including LPAs, subscription agreements, and side letters.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with careful attention to detail.
- Ability to turn legal expertise into actionable feedback for AI systems.
- Interest in innovation at the intersection of law and technology.
- Experience working with cross-disciplinary teams in fast-paced environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior exposure to AI, legal tech, or training initiatives.
Compensation
Compensation is task-based. Experts are paid per completed task that meets project specifications, with an average handling time of about 3.5 hours per task. Effective hourly earnings depend on the number of tasks completed and approved.
