Overview
micro1 is engaging Hospitalist Physicians for a remote contractor project focused on inpatient care and documentation standards. The work is designed to help train next-generation AI systems using high-quality medical judgment and real-world clinical input. There are 50 openings for this opportunity.
Scope of Work
- Review medical records, including FHIR data and clinical notes, for AI training purposes.
- Check whether clinical information and claims are supported by the medical record.
- Review inpatient documentation such as HPI, PMH, assessments, and plans.
- Apply project guidelines consistently across cases.
- Identify missing, incorrect, or inconsistent information in medical records.
- Provide feedback to help improve AI models and data quality.
- Communicate clearly with the project team about work progress and findings.
Preferred Qualifications
- MD or DO, board certified in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, or Hospital Medicine.
- Current or recent inpatient or hospitalist experience within the last 2 years.
- Strong understanding of inpatient documentation and hospital workflows.
- Comfort reviewing clinical notes and raw medical record data.
- Experience with chart review, clinical documentation improvement, utilization review, or medical coding/QA is a plus.
- Experience working across different inpatient services or specialties is a plus.
