About this opportunity
Overview
micro1 is seeking 360° vehicle navigation video recorders for a customer project involving immersive driving footage captured from a trailing third-person perspective. This is a remote contractor opportunity with 100 openings. Selected contributors will record real-world driving routes using compatible 360° cameras and submit approved footage for AI training use.
This flexible work can fit around trips or commutes you already make. If an available assignment matches your planned route and meets the recording requirements, you may claim it and record during that trip. Some selected contributors may also opt into additional recording assignments that do not involve vehicle navigation, but those are optional and depend on individual interest and assignment availability.
What You'll Do
- Select vehicle-navigation assignments from a predefined list.
- Capture stable, continuous driving footage from the required trailing third-person viewpoint.
- Record varied local routes, including turns, stops, intersections, parking areas, and movement between neighborhood or road environments.
- Reframe, export, and submit footage according to the assignment instructions.
Requirements
- Access to a compatible 360° action camera such as an Insta360, GoPro MAX, or a comparable device.
- Software that can reframe and export 360° footage into a trailing third-person view.
- A secure, vehicle-rated camera mounting system is strongly preferred; limited equipment support may be available to qualified individuals who do not already have a compatible mount.
- Ability to drive regularly and incorporate approved assignments into existing trips.
- Ability to review footage independently before submission.
Ideal Applicants
- People who already use a 360° camera for automotive, travel, action-sports, or driving footage.
- Contributors who understand mounting, stabilization, reframing, and video export.
- Individuals who can maintain attention to camera angle, video quality, and environmental coverage.
