Overview
SpaceXAI is hiring an AI Tutor - Video to help train and refine Grok’s ability to understand and generate video content with technical precision. This role is focused on video expertise, hands-on post-production knowledge, and the ability to assess what makes moving-image sequences work at a technical level. Tutor roles may be full-time, part-time, or contractor positions depending on role needs and candidate fit. Contractor work may vary by project scope and availability, and is typically flexible with no fixed commitments; many projects may involve at least 10 hours per week on average, though that is not a guaranteed requirement.
What You'll Do
- Use proprietary software to provide labels, annotations, and inputs on video and multimedia projects.
- Curate high-quality data that captures motion, timing, transitions, and visual effects.
- Help improve Grok’s understanding of video as a medium through technically informed feedback.
- Evaluate video sequences with attention to pacing, narrative flow, color, compositing, and post-production structure.
Requirements
- Portfolio demonstrating strong video work, such as edited shorts, motion graphics, VFX breakdowns, compositing reels, or similar samples.
- Strong skills in video editing, pacing, color grading, and narrative flow.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, Nuke, or similar software.
- Ability to critically analyze video work and explain what works or fails at a technical level.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal English skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with compositing, rotoscoping, or motion tracking workflows.
- Familiarity with AI video generation tools such as Grok Imagine, Runway, Kling, Sora, or Veo.
- Experience with 3D integration in video pipelines, including matchmoving and CG compositing.
- Familiarity with scripting or automation in post-production, such as Python or plugins.
Location and Work Setup
- The role can be performed remotely from any location worldwide, subject to legal eligibility, time-zone compatibility, and role-specific needs.
- For U.S.-based candidates, SpaceXAI is unable to hire in Wyoming or Illinois.
- Visa sponsorship is not available.
- If using a personal device, the computer must be a Chromebook, a Mac running macOS 11.0 or later, or a Windows 10 or later machine.
Compensation
- U.S.-based candidates: $40/hour - $75/hour, depending on relevant experience, skills, education, geographic location, and qualifications.
- International candidates: compensation information will be shared during the recruitment process.
