Overview
SpaceXAI is hiring an AI Tutor - Video (Weekend) to help train and refine Grok’s ability to understand and generate video content with technical depth. This is a weekend-focused role with set working hours on Saturday and Sunday. The role may be offered as full-time, part-time, or contractor depending on business needs and candidate fit.
The position is remote and may be performed from any location worldwide, subject to legal eligibility, time-zone compatibility, and role-specific needs. SpaceXAI cannot provide visa sponsorship. For U.S.-based candidates, the company is unable to hire in Wyoming and Illinois. Candidates working from a personal device must use a Chromebook, a Mac running macOS 11.0 or later, or a Windows 10 or later computer.
What You'll Do
- Use proprietary software to add labels, annotations, and other inputs on video and multimedia projects.
- Contribute curated data that reflects motion, timing, transitions, and visual effects with accuracy.
- Help improve Grok’s understanding of video as a medium through technically grounded feedback.
- Analyze video sequences and explain what works or fails from a technical perspective.
Requirements
- A portfolio that demonstrates strong video work, such as edited shorts, motion graphics, VFX breakdowns, compositing reels, or similar samples.
- Strong skills in video editing, pacing, color grading, and narrative flow.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, Nuke, or similar software.
- Ability to critically assess video content at a technical level.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal English skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with compositing, rotoscoping, or motion tracking workflows.
- Familiarity with AI video generation tools such as Grok Imagine, Runway, Kling, Sora, Veo, or similar tools.
- Experience with 3D integration in video pipelines, including matchmoving and CG compositing.
- Familiarity with scripting or automation in post-production, such as Python or plugins.
Compensation
US-based candidates: $40/hour - $75/hour depending on experience, skills, education, geographic location, and qualifications. International candidate compensation will be shared during the recruitment process.
