Overview
micro1 is looking for bilingual German and English speakers to support an audio data project for a customer. This contractor role is remote and includes 80 openings. The work contributes to training and improving AI speech and language systems through high-quality recordings, transcriptions, and audio review.
What You'll Do
- Record yourself reading provided sentences in German and English according to project instructions.
- Listen to audio clips and provide accurate transcriptions and pronunciation feedback.
- Create controlled background sound when requested, such as a stationary car setting or office noise, while keeping recordings stationary.
- Label and organize audio files with correct metadata and submission details.
- Support ongoing speech data collection efforts for AI model development, training, and evaluation.
- Follow privacy, storage, and consent requirements related to voice recordings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Native-level German with clear articulation and strong pronunciation.
- B2-level English proficiency or higher for bilingual tasks and instructions.
- Ability to follow detailed audio-quality and content guidelines.
- Comfort working independently in a remote environment and managing assigned tasks.
- Careful attention to pronunciation, background noise, and data accuracy.
