Overview
micro1 is seeking 10 Swiss German Transcription Experts for a remote contractor project focused on high-quality audio transcription. The work supports a customer's AI training effort, helping improve how models learn, reason, and perform through real-world audio input. No prior AI experience is required; strong domain knowledge and transcription accuracy are the key priorities.
Scope of Work
- Transcribe audio samples in Swiss German or English with a high level of accuracy.
- Follow project guidelines and transcription best practices to produce consistent outputs.
- Identify and annotate linguistic nuances, speaker changes, and contextual cues in the audio.
- Work with project managers and other experts to resolve ambiguities and clarify requirements.
- Review and edit transcripts to improve grammatical and linguistic precision.
- Share feedback that can help improve transcription workflows and quality standards.
- Complete assignments within agreed timelines and according to project specifications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Native-level Swiss German proficiency, including strong comprehension of regional accents and dialects.
- Professional audio transcription experience, ideally with Swiss German or multilingual audio content.
- Strong accuracy and a proven ability to deliver error-free transcripts.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on linguistic precision.
- Familiarity with AI training, linguistic annotation, or machine learning projects is a plus.
- Comfort handling confidential audio material with discretion and professionalism.
- Ability to work independently in a remote digital environment and manage time effectively.
