Overview
Pila8 is seeking a Single-Person Recording Contributor, English for remote voice work supporting AI training projects. Contributors complete solo recording tasks that may include prompted responses, scripted reads, or guided recordings. The role is contract-based, fully remote, and applicants should be able to start quickly and work through active English-language projects.
Some projects may involve short, repeatable clips, while others can require longer answers or multi-clip workflows. The goal is to produce clear, consistent English recordings that meet project format and quality standards.
What You'll Do
- Record prompted, scripted, or guided solo responses in English.
- Follow script and prompt instructions exactly as provided.
- Maintain clean and consistent audio quality from the first take through submission.
- Re-record clips when corrections or quality improvements are required.
- Submit recordings on time and in the correct format.
Requirements
- English is required for all work on this page.
- Clear spoken English and the ability to stay consistent across repeated prompts or multi-clip tasks.
- Strong attention to detail when following scripts and project rules.
- Ability to pause, re-record, and refine clips as needed.
- Comfort working through structured tasks in a dependable way.
Equipment and Recording Environment
- A modern phone or computer with a working microphone is usually enough for most solo recording tasks.
- Some projects may recommend headphones for playback monitoring and consistency.
- A quiet indoor recording space is preferred.
- Avoid background noise, echo, televisions, conversations, and fans that could cause clip rejection.
- Reliable microphone input, enough device storage, and a stable connection for uploads or platform-based recording may be needed.
