Overview
TELUS Digital is expanding its AI community into embodied AI and is looking for a Robotics AI Specialist to help evaluate how AI systems perform in the physical world. This remote opportunity involves reviewing robotic behavior, spatial understanding, simulation results, and safety-critical outputs to help improve real-world AI systems.
What You'll Do
- Audit video and sensor data to assess whether robotic movements are logical, safe, and efficient.
- Review 3D environments and provide feedback on depth, distance, and obstacles.
- Evaluate AI performance in simulated and digital twin environments and identify errors before hardware deployment.
- Check AI-generated physical instructions for alignment with physics and engineering safety standards.
- Spot edge cases that could affect robotic systems, such as lighting changes, surface textures, or moving hazards.
Requirements
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Native-level proficiency in your primary language.
- English proficiency at B1 (Intermediate) level or higher.
- Basic understanding of computer vision, sensor fusion, or autonomous systems.
- Completion of a subject-specific qualification exam.
- ID verification is required.
Compensation
Expert pay rates currently range from $20 to $50 USD per hour. Payment terms are defined for each project.
