Physicist

Overview

Rex is looking for practising physicists to help evaluate AI answers to physics questions. The work focuses on checking correctness, writing reference solutions, and identifying unsupported assumptions.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate AI responses to physics questions for conceptual and numerical accuracy.
• Write professional-level prompts and reference solutions.
• Identify unsupported assumptions, dimensional mistakes, and calculation errors.
• Apply project rubrics consistently and explain scoring decisions.
• Review other experts’ work for accuracy and clarity.
• Take part in calibration and review sessions and incorporate feedback to maintain quality standards.

Requirements

• Degree in physics plus professional experience in research, a laboratory, or industry.
• Strong problem-solving ability across multiple areas of physics.
• Excellent written English.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and stay reliable and detail-oriented in a remote setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with simulation or data analysis.
• Teaching or tutoring experience.
• Prior AI training experience.

• Do not submit confidential or proprietary material from an employer, client, or third party, or personal data without a lawful basis.
• Rex may verify identity, credentials, ownership, and licensing, may reject or remove submissions, and may report unlawful submissions to relevant authorities.
• Engagement and payment are subject to successful verification and to applicable sanctions, export-control, tax, and employment laws.
• The contractor agreement will define ownership and licensing terms for delivered work.
