Role Overview

DataAnnotation is seeking Physicists to evaluate AI-generated physics reasoning across areas including mechanics, electromagnetism, quantum mechanics and thermodynamics. You will identify errors in AI solutions and provide accurate, step-by-step solutions.

Responsibilities

• Create physics problems designed to test AI reasoning, from undergraduate mechanics to graduate-level theory.

• Review AI-generated solutions for dimensional errors, incorrect approximations and missing reasoning steps.

• Evaluate the quality and correctness of AI reasoning.

• Provide gold-standard solutions that clearly explain the underlying physics at each step.

Requirements

• Graduate-level physics background or equivalent research experience.

• Ability to solve problems in at least two core areas of physics.

• Strong written English and ability to clearly explain technical reasoning.

• No degree required; demonstrated expertise is valued.

Compensation & Work Details

• Pay: Up to $75–$125+ per hour, depending on task difficulty and specialization.
