Overview
Welo Life Sciences, a Welo Global brand, is expanding its non-linguistic quality control team to support pharmaceutical and CRO clients on regulated global projects. The role focuses on quality-checking translations into English for clinical, regulatory, and pharmacovigilance content, with steady daily volume and long-term growth potential.
What You'll Do
- Perform non-linguistic QC on translations into English for pharmacovigilance, regulatory, and clinical materials.
- Review files for accuracy and consistency in formatting, numbers, dates, units, terminology, and instruction adherence.
- Use CAT tools to run QC checks and validate translated content.
- Work with non-editable or handwritten source material and complete formatting QC after conversion.
- Handle high volumes of small files and document or report discrepancies.
- Work within available hours and meet urgent turnaround times, typically 12–24 hours.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months of experience as a language QA specialist in localization.
- Experience with CAT tools such as XTM, Trados, MemoQ, or Phrase.
- Experience with QA tools such as Xbench, Verifika, or CAT-integrated QA.
- Experience using Track Changes in Word.
- Advanced English proficiency, minimum C1 level.
- Availability for 4–5 hours per day, including willingness to work weekends and bank holidays.
- Ability to manage urgent 12–24 hour turnaround times and many small files.
- Willingness to complete a QC test and follow staged onboarding.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a similar QC role at an LSP.
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends and bank holidays.
