Job Description
Turing is hiring experienced India-based Dermatologists to support the evaluation and improvement of AI systems in the medical domain.
The work combines reviewing AI-generated dermatology content with evaluating dermatology images through a structured online tool. Experts will use their clinical knowledge to assess medical accuracy, safety, relevance, image quality, and diagnostic usability.
What You’ll Do
- Review AI-generated medical content for dermatological accuracy, safety, and completeness.
- Evaluate AI-generated diagnoses, treatment plans, and clinical summaries.
- Review dermatology images using a structured online evaluation platform.
- Assess whether images are suitable for diagnostic evaluation.
- Identify image-quality issues involving factors such as lighting, exposure, colour, framing, or clarity.
- Where applicable, identify likely dermatological conditions and provide confidence ratings and clinical rationale.
- Provide expert feedback to improve the medical reliability and safety of AI outputs.
- Collaborate with AI researchers and clinicians to support evidence-based model evaluation.
- Complete structured questionnaires according to detailed project guidelines.
Requirements
- MBBS with completed Dermatology residency.
- Minimum 5 years of post-residency experience in dermatology.
- Must be based in India.
- Strong visual attention to detail.
- Comfortable professionally reviewing medical images that may contain sensitive clinical content.
- Comfortable using web-based annotation and evaluation platforms.
- Ability to use image-review tools and follow detailed evaluation guidelines.
- Ability to accurately complete structured questionnaires.
Preferred Experience
Experience in one or more of the following is preferred:
- Medical content review.
- Clinical research.
- Data annotation.
- AI or machine-learning evaluation.
Evaluation Process
Candidates will be shortlisted based on their qualifications and assessment scores, followed by one interview round.
Contract Details
This is a fully remote 12-week contractor/freelance assignment.
Experts must commit 40 hours per week, including at least 4 hours per day and 4 hours of overlap with PST.
