Junior Data Scientist (ML/Python)

Overview

micro1 is partnering with a leading AI lab to hire junior data scientists and quantitative professionals. The work focuses on bringing rigor to how AI models handle statistics, machine learning, experimentation, and quantitative reasoning. This is a contractor role with 100 openings and remote work arrangements.

Scope of Work

• Evaluate AI model outputs on data science, statistics, machine learning, and quantitative problems.
• Create expert-level prompts, datasets, and reference solutions.
• Identify flawed methodology, statistical mistakes, and weak quantitative reasoning.
• Provide structured feedback that helps improve model capability.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least one year of experience at a top company in tech, finance, or research, with part of that experience within the past 3 years.
• Based in an English-speaking country.
• Clear written communication of technical and statistical concepts.
