Overview
micro1 is seeking 15 German Transcription Experts for a remote contractor role focused on audio transcription and AI training. The work supports a customer project and is intended to help train next-generation AI systems using high-quality German-language input. No prior AI experience is required.
Scope of Work
- Listen to German audio and transcribe it accurately while preserving meaning, tone, and context.
- Review and edit transcripts to align with linguistic and stylistic guidelines.
- Add project-required metadata such as speaker labels, timestamps, or context cues.
- Work with project stakeholders to resolve unclear or ambiguous language.
- Perform quality checks to maintain accuracy and consistency across transcripts.
- Share feedback that can improve transcription workflows and guidelines.
- Handle project data confidentially and follow applicable compliance protocols.
Preferred Qualifications
- Native-level German fluency with strong spoken and written comprehension.
- Background in transcription, linguistics, or related language work.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with audio playback and transcription tools, plus standard office software.
- Ability to apply project instructions precisely and consistently.
- Familiarity with linguistic annotation and metadata practices.
- Strong organization and problem-solving skills in remote work settings.
