Overview
Surge is hiring a Generative AI Generalist to help optimize the systems and processes that support product development and delivery. The role sits within Field Engineering & Operations and works closely with product, engineering, and operations teams to keep execution coordinated and efficient.
What You'll Do
- Oversee the end-to-end product operations cycle to support timely delivery of features, improvements, and customer-facing solutions.
- Partner with product and engineering teams to align operational workflows with product goals and customer needs.
- Define, monitor, and improve key performance metrics tied to product and operational success.
- Handle internal and external communication around product updates and help resolve operational roadblocks.
- Use data-driven insights to refine operational strategy and improve support for product teams.
What We're Looking For
- Strong analytical skills with an emphasis on improving operational efficiency and product delivery.
- Ability to work through ambiguity, manage multiple initiatives, and drive continuous improvement.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Ability to translate complex processes into practical, actionable steps.
- Interest in AI/ML systems is a plus, though not required.
