Finance Expert – AI Training & Evaluation

Job Description

Turing is hiring experienced Finance Experts to work with researchers on improving the performance of advanced AI models.

You’ll apply your professional finance knowledge to evaluate AI-generated outputs, identify weaknesses, develop evaluation criteria, and help researchers improve how AI systems handle complex financial tasks.

Expertise may come from areas such as investment banking, private equity, venture capital, FP&A, accounting, corporate finance, or financial consulting.

No previous AI experience is required.

What You’ll Do

• Evaluate AI-generated outputs on finance-related tasks.
• Identify errors and areas where AI models struggle with financial reasoning.
• Develop rubrics and structured assessments for specialized financial tasks.
• Evaluate scenarios involving areas such as deals, M&A, investments, and financial analysis.
• Collaborate with AI researchers and other finance professionals.
• Help design model training methods, evaluation strategies, and benchmarks.
• Apply professional financial judgment to improve model accuracy and reasoning.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, FP&A, accounting, financial consulting, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of financial concepts within your area of expertise.
• Knowledge may include corporate finance, investment analysis, asset management, risk management, or related areas.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Any of the following are preferred:

• CFA Level I, II, or III
• CA
• CPA
• MBA in Finance

Candidates without these qualifications may still be considered if they have relevant professional experience and training.
