Role Overview

DataAnnotation is seeking Chemists to evaluate AI-generated chemical reasoning. You will assess AI responses involving chemical mechanisms, synthesis routes and analytical interpretation, identify incorrect or unsafe information, and provide accurate answers based on sound chemical reasoning.

Responsibilities

• Create prompts that test AI reasoning in areas such as chemical mechanisms, synthesis routes and analytical interpretation.

• Review AI-generated responses for impossible mechanisms, unsafe procedures and incorrectly interpreted spectra.

• Evaluate and rate the quality of AI chemical reasoning.

• Provide correct answers when AI responses are inaccurate or incomplete.

• Ensure appropriate attention is given to chemical conditions and safety.

Suitable Backgrounds

• Chemist

• Analytical Chemist

Requirements

• Graduate-level chemistry background or equivalent laboratory experience.

• Knowledge and experience in organic, inorganic or physical chemistry.

• Strong written English and ability to clearly explain chemical reasoning.

• No degree required.
