Job Description
Turing is hiring French and English-speaking Business Analysts to help train and improve large language models (LLMs).
The role involves solving analytical and reasoning problems, conducting online research, validating information, and breaking complex content into logical components. You’ll also create scenarios and provide explanations that help AI models improve their analytical and reasoning capabilities.
No specialized domain experience is required.
What You’ll Do
- Answer analytical and logical reasoning questions used to train AI models.
- Create scenarios and problems designed to improve LLM reasoning.
- Read, summarize, and organize complex information.
- Break large amounts of content into smaller logical components.
- Conduct online research and validate claims.
- Analyze data and draw logical conclusions.
- Provide detailed annotations, explanations, and constructive feedback.
- Work with LLMs on analytical and problem-solving tasks.
Requirements
- Proficiency in both French and English is mandatory.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
- Good research skills.
- Ability to provide detailed annotations and constructive feedback.
- Creative and lateral thinking abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Desktop or laptop with a reliable internet connection.
- Availability for at least 4 hours per day and 20 hours per week.
- Ability to accommodate the required overlap with U.S. Pacific Time.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or undergraduate studies in Engineering, Literature, Journalism, Communications, Arts, Statistics, or a related field.
- Candidates without a bachelor’s degree may also be considered if they have relevant experience.
- Professional writing experience, including business analysis, research analysis, copywriting, journalism, technical writing, editing, or translation.
- Familiarity with Excel and Google Workspace.
- Strong data interpretation, logical reasoning, and basic arithmetic skills.
Application Process
- Shortlisted candidates complete an automated analytical challenge.
- Successful candidates proceed to an English business writing assessment.
- Complete a French language proficiency assessment.
- Candidates who successfully complete the online assessments can proceed to the project.
Contract Details
This is a fully remote 2-month contractor/freelance assignment.
Candidates can choose from 20, 30, or 40 hours per week, with a minimum commitment of 4 hours per day. The listing requires 4 hours of PST overlap and also notes approximately 2–5 hours/day of overlap with UTC-8 (America/Los Angeles).
