Bengali Bilingual Expert

Overview

micro1 is seeking Bengali Bilingual Experts for a remote contractor project supporting language and AI training. The role is focused on evaluating Bengali audio and contributing high-quality linguistic feedback that helps improve model understanding and generation. No prior AI experience is required; the main requirement is strong Bengali language expertise.

What You'll Do

• Listen to Bengali audio clips and assess the speaker or model output for nativeness and fluency.
• Review pronunciation, intonation, and overall linguistic authenticity using the provided guidelines.
• Write clear assessment notes in English, explaining the key language factors behind each evaluation.
• Provide concise, well-supported justifications so reviews are consistent and easy to understand.
• Work with project coordinators when questions or ambiguities come up in the language content.
• Support efforts to improve Bengali language understanding and generation in AI systems.
• Complete audio review tasks accurately and on time while maintaining quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Native-level Bengali proficiency with strong spoken and written command of the language.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher, especially for written and verbal communication.
• Background in voice work, linguistics, phonetics, music/audio engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience with audio analysis, transcription, or linguistic assessment is a plus.
• Strong ability to notice subtle language differences and explain them clearly.
• Experience in media, communications, or teaching is considered helpful.
