Overview
LXT is seeking native Austrian German speakers to participate in a speech recording project that supports speech recognition and AI language technology development. Contributors will record short prompts on the platform and complete approximately 400 prompts in total. This is a contractor role based in Vienna (Wien) with a remote work arrangement.
Responsibilities
- Record short speech prompts in Austrian German (Österreichisches Deutsch).
- Speak naturally and clearly using authentic Austrian German pronunciation and dialect.
- Follow project instructions and quality guidelines.
- Work in a quiet environment with minimal background noise.
- Complete approximately 400 speech prompts on the platform.
Requirements
- Native speaker of Austrian German, preferably with a natural Austrian accent or dialect.
- Reliable internet connection.
- Access to a computer with a working microphone.
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain high-quality recordings.
- Comfort with recording speech in a quiet environment.
