Role Overview
CNTXT AI is seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to lead its accounting team and oversee full-cycle accounting and month-end close processes for regional investment entities and operating companies. The role involves team management, financial reporting, compliance, ERP oversight, and process improvement in a multi-jurisdictional environment.
Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and manage a small accounting team, including task allocation and performance reviews.
Manage month-end and year-end closing for multiple legal entities across jurisdictions.
Oversee consolidated financial statements and reporting packages in accordance with IFRS and local statutory requirements.
Supervise accounting for complex investment structures, intercompany transfers, and multi-currency transactions.
Act as the accounting system subject matter expert and lead ERP enhancement initiatives.
Support ERP selection, implementation, or migration, including systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
Ensure timely and accurate Tax and VAT filings across multiple jurisdictions, including UAE Corporate Tax and VAT compliance.
Improve accounting workflows, internal controls, and reporting processes.
Work independently in a remote, deadline-driven environment.

Qualifications & Experience
7–10 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Experience in a multi-entity or investment firm environment preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CMA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification is a plus.
Experience managing multi-entity and multi-country accounting operations.
VC, PE, or family office experience is a plus.
Strong knowledge of IFRS, multi-entity consolidation, and complex intercompany transactions.
Experience with multi-jurisdictional Tax and VAT filing.
Hands-on experience with ERP implementation or migration.
Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines in a fully remote environment.
